In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
I believe in God the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.
Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed art you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death, Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen.
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell;
and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are in most need of your mercy.
The 1st Luminous Mystery: The Baptism in the Jordan
"And when Jesus was baptized, he went up immediately from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and alighting on him; and lo, a voice from heaven, saying, 'This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased"' (Mt 3:16-17).
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell;
and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are in most need of your mercy.
The 2nd Luminous Mystery: The wedding feast of Cana
"On the third day there was a marriage at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there; Jesus also was invited to the marriage, with his disciples. When the wine failed, the mother of Jesus said to him, 'They have no wine.' And Jesus said to her, 'O woman, what have you to do with me? My hour has not yet come.' His mother said to the servants, 'Do whatever he tells you"' (Jn 2:1-5).
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell;
and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are in most need of your mercy.
The 3rd Luminous Mystery: The proclamation of the kingdom of God
"The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe in the gospel" (Mk 1:15).
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell;
and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are in most need of your mercy.
The 4th Luminous Mystery: The Transfiguration
"And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain apart. And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his garments became white as light" (Mt 17:1-2).
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell;
and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are in most need of your mercy.
The 5th Luminous Mystery: The institution of the Eucharist
"Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, 'Take, eat; this is my body"' (Mt 26:26).
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell;
and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are in most need of your mercy.
Hail, holy Queen, mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To you do we send up our sighs mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn, then, most gracious Advocate, your eyes of mercy towards us; and after this exile show us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
L. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray: O God, whose Only Begotten Son, by his life, Death, and Resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech you that while meditating on these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
